This invitation was created in 2011 for the opening night of the new Austin City Limits venue, ACL Live at The Moody Theater. The client wanted something unique that veered away from the rustic history of the former historic venue and projected a sleek, new beginning. I created a piece that mails flat in an envelope, and after some simple assembly at the user end, can be made into a "black box" that is illuminated from the top by an LED light that is hidden in a flap.
This piece was selected by the Austin Advertising Federation (AAF) for two awards: Gold Addy in Special Event Announcement and Johnny Jones Excellence in Printing (McCarthy Print). It also won a Regional Silver Addy Award for Special Event Announcement.
I have been designing and screenprinting show posters for over 15 years. The poster work that I am the proudest of includes elements of illustration, handmade typography and compelling composition that speaks to the band/musician's fan base. Most of these posters have been hand-printed by myself. As an extension of my printmaking degree, my poster work is a labor of love. This page is just a small sample of the posters I have made.

Since 2009 I have been designing calendars to send to friends and family. I made several 18x24” screenprinted calendars based on the Chinese zodiac, and now I am making Risograph calendars about critically endangered species.
